Brave Taxi Driver Receives 2 Bedroom House Reward From Government


The brave taxi driver, John Kudalor has been commended by so many for his outstanding heroic act which saw the arrest of two suspected robbers. Recent reports reveal that government has rewarded the driver with a two-bedroom house for salvaging the horrible situation of two robbers who attacked a staff of Koala and tried to escape with her belongings.

The Incident took place near the American Embassy at East Cantonments. The taxi driver who was in motion noticed the attack and perceived the two to be robbers. They had shot the lady on the leg, but as they were absconding on a motorbike after the operation, the cab driver rammed into them with his car. The robbers Obaleko Stanley, 35 and Oko Quarcoo, 30, who were injured from the crash were then arrested.

Following the heroic incident, the President, Koala Supermarket as well as the police administration had promised him a house and new cars respectively.

The brave taxi driver had already received the new car promised him by the management of Koala Supermarket.


Also, the Police through the Inspector General rewarded him with a new Toyota Corolla at the Police Head Quarters.

Now, he has been handed a house by the government in fulfillment of their own promise.

The Minister of Water Resources Works and Housing who presented the keys to John Kudalor commended him for his heroic act and equally encouraged Ghanaians to imbibe patriotism which was for the good of the government. His words:

Maintenance of law and order is not the exclusive preserve of the Police. As good citizens, all of us must be involved in maintaining law and order. The nation is very grateful to this gentleman. This should encourage all Ghanaians in maintaining law and order.
