Kurt Okraku Vows Kenichi Would Have Paid With His Job If…

Executive Chairman of Dreams FC, Kurt Okraku was greatly infuriated by the recent action of Hearts of Oak Coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi and has said that he(Kenichi) would have paid with his job if he(Kurt) was the Hearts Board Chairman.

Kurt Okraku is fully convinced that Kenichi’s actions of taking to social media to disclose contractual details would have earned him a sack was he in charge of the Phobians.

Kurt, who doubles as the chairman of the MTN FA Cup committee, is completely taken aback by the unruly behavior of the Japanese American. According to Kurt, the action is political.

For him, Kenichi was unknown prior to his appointment and should be grateful to Hearts of Oak for bringing him into the limelight.

He however told Joy Sports in full confidence that no coach of Dreams would attempt such scornful behavior, saying that, “Per the structures we have in Dreams, our coaches will not behave the way Kenichi has behaved.”

According to him, Kenichi played people’s minds and hearts against the management and board of the club just in the bid to attract public sympathy which is unnecessary. This he said, adding that the issues at stake which is unpaid salaries “are no issues”.

Okraku therefore, advised Kenichi to concentrate on his core duties of bringing success to the Phobians on the pitch, instead of spending his energy on ‘political’ actions of publicizing the club’s internal dealings.

Hearts of Oaks Coach, Kenichi  Yatsuhashi recently took to Facebook to reveal that players and coaches of the club have not been paid their salaries for several months. This exposure brought untold embarrassment to the board and management of the club.

Still boiling with annoyance, Kurt warned Kenichi to concentrate on his core job and work hard to bring success to Hearts of Oaks, adding that, “If I was the board chairman of Hearts of Oak, Kenichi will be a goner.”

Meanwhile, Okraku’s Dreams FC will face Kotoko in the midweek set of matches for the Ghana Premier League.
