Lapaz delivers quadruplets; the first set for the community hospital in Accra, Ghana since her inception
Lapaz Community Hospital, a medical facility in Accra, Ghana known for fertility treatments especially that of the In Vitro Fertility (IVF), has successfully delivered a set of quadruplets.
Although the hospital has recorded successful delivery of IVF singletons, twins and triplets; this is the first time Lapaz delivers quadruplets since its inception few years ago. The set of quadruplets were delivered through a Cesarean Session by a team of doctors and nurses led by Dr Fela Adoboe.
The hospital few months ago, recorded a remarkable delivery of a bouncing baby boy by a 55-year-old woman.
Lapaz Community Hospital according to her medical team is committed to bringing hope and smiles to families whose existence has been threatened by childlessness.
Coming to the hospital charges (which every one would expect to be high), the team gave an assurance of affordable IVF and other fertility treatments. According to them, they will not allow poverty or old age to prevent couples from experiencing the joy of parenthood.
The team also disclosed that more single babies are expected to be delivered before the month runs out.
