Retired Ghanaian actress, Grace Omaboe, known in the industry as Maame Dokono has endorsed beautiful actress Nana Ama Mcbrown as her best female actress in Ghana’s movie industry.
According to the ‘By the Fire Side’ actress, Mcbrown to her is one female actress who is really making the female folk proud in the industry.
These comments from Madam Omaboe are coming at the heels of Nana Ama McBrown’s wedding which took place Friday, August 5. As the heat of the wedding celebrations are yet to die down, Maame Dokono names McBrown the best female actress in Ghana.
The acting veteran pointed out striking similarities between McBrown’s current roles in Ghana’s entertainment industry with hers while she was still active. Describing her as ‘a very good actress’, Maame Dokono picked McBrown as her best female actress in Ghana.
Speaking further, she appraised Nana Ama’s acting prowess,. She said the actress has the ability to act any movie role. She also commended Nana Ama McBrown for her versatility, saying that she does so many other things aside acting movies, including television work.

Grace Omaboe is a Ghanaian actress and television personality and author. She first started acting in the Keteke TV series on Ghanaian state owned GBC TV. She moved on from there to become one of the most sought after actresses of her time when she starred in the Hit Akan Drama Series “Obra” also on GBC TV.
Popularly known as Maame Dokono (after she played a character as a kenkey seller), she moved on to feature in several Ghanaian movies both Akan and English. She starred in the 2013 short Kwaku Ananse.
Maame Dokono like Nana Ama Mcbrown during her days in the industry was very versatile actress. She also worked as a television personality, staring in series among other businesses.
