President Mahama Unveils his 2016 Campaign Team: See the Team Leader and Others


The long awaited Mahama’s 2016 Campaign Team has just been unveiled…

President John Dramani Mahama, who is the presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress(NDC) has unveiled his campaign team for the 2016 presidential elections.

Mahama’s 2016 Campaign Team comprises 15 members, headed by the NDC General Secretary, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia.

The decision was reached in agreement with the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party at a NEC meeting on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.

Among the 15 persons, is Mr Kofi Adams. who is the team coordinator. The campaign’s spokeman is in the person of Deputy Transport Minister, Joyce Mogtari Bawa.

The announcement of the campaign team follows a number of restructuring and organisational measures aimed at strengthening the various wings of the party to position it to achieve success in the upcoming elections.

A statement signed by the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Kofi Portuphy, said the launch of the campaign team also marks the commencement of a line of activities that are designed to mobilize all members of the party in particular, and Ghanaians in general for victory.

The party will launch the campaign on a subsequent date in the Ashanti Region, the stronghold of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Meanwhile, the leader of the NDC expressed confidence in the ability of the appointed members of the team to bring their unique skills to bear on the prosecution of a enthusiastic, issue-based campaign which will deliver resounding victory for the party. According to the President, the party’s manifesto will also be launched soon.
