In response to a previous comment made by Vice President Amissah-Arthur, Nana Addo accuses NDC of being masters with a copyright in rigging elections
The Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo has qualified the ruling National Democratic Congress as “masters with a copyright” when it comes to election rigging.
Nana Addo accuses NDC of being masters in rigging while addressing party supporters in his campaign tour of the Ablekuma West constituency. It is believed that Akufo-Addo said this in response to the Vice President’s warning to Ghanaians to watch out for fraudulent practices in the coming polls during an address at Asawase in the Ashanti Region.
Nana Addo assured the people that the NPP is a democratic party and will never be involved in rigging. He stated confidently that the NDC is beginning to get the feeling that they will lose in the coming election. He therefore advised them to accept their fate and stop annoying Ghanaians with their comments.
However, the Campaign Coordinator of the NDC, Kofi Adams speaking on Eyewitnesses News, countered Nana Addo’s stance saying that the he and his party are just busy peddling falsehood in their bid to win the election. He accused the NPP of trying to win the election through feeding the people with falsehood on different angles.
Kofi Adams stressed that the NDC will never rig an election as they are fit to win in a free and fair election any day, anytime. He added that the NDC has formed the habit of carrying out reforms whenever they are in government. He explained that it is these reforms that help in cleaning up as well as pushing the party’s electoral process further.
