Nana Addo Takes Campaign Tour To Northern Region


Nana Addo’s Northern Region tour commenced today August 30, 2016.

Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo, has taken his campaign tour to the Northern Region.

The NPP Flagbearer is reportedly expected to begin his Northern Region campaign tour in the Walewale constituency.

Nana Addo and his campaign team have continued to put in efforts, to ensure that Ghanaians get the message of change, which the party plans to actualize if voted into power.

Nana Addo who recently rounded up his campaign tour of the Upper East region, is ready to show the Northerners what he has to offer. The NPP Presidential hopeful will pay a courtesy call on the overlord of the Mamprugu traditional area, the Nayiri Mahami Bahigu Sheriga, at his palace in Nalerigu.

The second day of Nana Addo’s Northern Region tour, will see him pay courtesy calls on some chiefs in the Tamale Metropolis. There he would also shed light on his plans of bringing about a better Ghana for all.

Though Akufo Addo has already paid courtesy calls on the Regent of Dagbon and the Regent of the Abudu Royals, he is also expected to visit the Eastern Corridor enclave.

The NPP is hoping for a peaceful and successful tour in the region. The party has already decorated the area using different flags and banners to beautify electricity polls, streetlights and also storey buildings, within Tamale Township.

The Northern Regional Communications Director of the party, Mohammed Abdul Kudus, has pleaded with party supporters to ensure orderliness in the area.

Nana Addo and his campaign team will end the tour of the Northern region in Gonjaland, where they would visit constituencies like; Yapei-Kusawgu, Daboya, Damongo and Sawla-Tuna-Kalba.
