Nana Kwaku Bonsam Prophesies About Shatta Wale’s Music Career [Watch Video]

Ghanaian controversial fetish priest Nana Kwaku Bonsam has released a video on his Facebook page showing his heartfelt support for Shatta Wale and condemning all those that have promised to bring the dancehall king down. In the video Nana Kwaku Bonsam prophesies saying Shatta Wale will not only win local awards but an international award before December ends.

The traditional priests’ support for Shatta Wale is related to the ‘Kaikai’ singer’s disqualification from the recently concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs). The boycott was a penalty Shatta suffered after he refused to tender in an apology to its organizers, Charterhouse. Shatta in the previous year released a number of videos criticizing and insulting the company, accusing them of corruption, Shatta in one of the videos sent out a warning to the VGMA organizers, saying they should stop denying musicians from other parts of Ghana the necessary recognition.

Many were angered about the organizer’s decision to disqualify Shatta and joining the list of those who perceived the judgement as absolutely unfair is Nana Kwaku Bonsam. The spiritualist stated in the 7 minute long video he posted on his Facebook page that he isn’t even a fan of Shatta but he’s there for anyone who does good and is no supporter of injustice. He said that as a musician who has sang a couple of songs in the gospel and hip hop genre, he admires and likes Shatta’s music.

Kwaku Bonsam further expressing his anger said that Ghanaians are fond of hating on the success of people such as Shatta who has obviously been blessed by God. And even though Shatta did something that was wrong, he deserved to be pardoned as the ‘bible’ says evil should not be repaid with evil.

The highlight of his message was assuring Shatta Wale that he has nothing to worry about as he’s sure that he will win a major international award before the end of December. Watch the video below and tell us what you think in the comment section bellow.
