Ghanaian hiplife musician, Michael Kwabena Okyere Darko, popularly known as Obrafour has disclosed his recovery to the public, giving all thanks and praise to God who saved him. Obrafour recovers after being reported seriously sick for some months now.
The rapper’s ill health was made known by Ghana’s rap king, Sarkodie who is Obrafour’s godson, about a month ago in a tweet. Sarkodie had then called on fans to pray earnestly for his godfather, whose health he disclosed was in a critical state. He explained in the tweet that he had been playing low on the issue but since it had become serious, he decided to make it public. People got scared!
More reports also followed which confirmed Obrafour’s sickness. According to the reports, he had been on hospital admission for more than a month. The rap icon himself after a while also confirmed news of his ill health, while thanking all who called, visited or prayed for him.
It was also rumoured that he was involved in an accident but, his manager had debunked such, confirming he was only sick.
Nevertheless, Obrafour recovers finally! Making his recovery known in a Facebook post, the rapper praised God, quoting Isaiah 43:2,3. Posting a photo of his vibrant self, Obrafour wrote:
He is God our savior, I am grateful to him and full of praise to him and to you all who supported me in prayers to get me this far. God has indeed healed me.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you. For I am Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
Obrafour started his music career in the 90s. He has several albums to his credit. They include; Tofa (Time out for Adhession), Ntetee Pa, Heavy, Asem Sebe,Pae Mu Ka. Some of his popular songs are ‘Pimpinaa’ and ‘Pae Mu Ka’.
