From the way it is being hyped, Shatta’s London concert is set to be the bomb
To think we are recovering from the thrill of Shatta Wale’s ‘After the Storm’ album launch, a concert has been slated to hold in the UK this summer. Dubbed “Shatta Wale Live in Concert”, the event which kick-starts the Dancehall King’s much anticipated world tour will take place at the famous Indigo 02 arena on August 26 which happens to be Bank Holiday in London.
From the way it is being hyped, Shatta’s London concert is set to be the bomb. Akwaaba Group (Akwaaba UK), the organizers of the event have expressed their excitement about having Shatta Wale in London. This is also a great opportunity for UK based Ghanaians who have missed Shatta’s performance to witness it live!
In a statement released by the show organizers, Akwaaba is “certain of a great show and a memorable night for all attendees with the Ghanaian star who continue to rock all shows to the excitement of his audience”. UK is excited to have the ‘kakai’ hit maker yet again.
The Dancehall King’s last performance in London was on March 28th 2015 when he headlined the Dance Afrique London concert at the renowned SSE Arena Wembley together with Nigerian musicians P-Square and Flavour. There’s no stopping Shatta’s drive in his business of entertainment.
He successfully toured Canada and USA in the year 2014, had a European tour in 2015 and has shared the same stage with celebrated global music icons. He has collaborated musically with some of the finest African acts including Davido and Patoranking (both of Nigeria) and recently with award winning Afrobeat musician, Fuse ODG.
Tickets for the much anticipated concert would be available for sale very soon.
