The most trending crime incident in Ghana at the moment is that of VVIP, Stonebwoy, robbed alongside the Nigerian A-list music producer Clarence Peters
It has been gathered that Nigerian music video director, Clarence Peters has been robbed of his production equipment and other belongings while in Accra. According to reports, Clarence was in Ghana to work with music group VVIP, Stonebwoy, Patoranking and other artistes.
But unfortunately for the producer, he was robbed of his multimillion naira production equipment and valuables. The culprits reportedly stole some valuable items including a hard drive which contains rushes of VVIP’s upcoming video with Patoranking and some works of Stonebwoy worth thousands of Ghana cedis.
Hiplife Grandpa Reggie Rockstone who confirmed the robbery has described it as unfortunate and a disgrace to Ghana. According to Rockstone;
“VVIP, Stonebwoy, Clarence Peters and Patoranking have placed a 10,000 dollars reward for anybody who would help to recover the lost items”
Narrating how they got to find out about the incident, Rockstone said that Nigeria’s Clarence Peters brought his own camera crew who he has been working with for years and stayed at Alisa Hotel.
He explained that according to the footage they saw, a man walked into the room, picked up the bag and walked out. However, he said the footage was not clear enough for them to know what actually happened in the room.
This has become the most trending crime incident in Ghana at the moment. It is really alarming that these robbers or pick pockets as the case may be, commit these crimes fearlessly and shamelessly
But then the bright side of the incident is that no one got hurt during the ‘operation’, as there is the tendency of something worse happening – like in the case of Late JB Danquah. Grand Pa Rockstone has expressed his disappointment over the issue, and hopes the lost items are recovered.
