Good News! Wayoosi Is Responding To Treatment – Wife Confirms


News of Wayoosi getting better has brought hope to fans of the actor, as well as the entire Kumawood family

There is hope after all for the sick and bedridden Kumawood actor Joseph Osei Kofi, popularly known as Wayoosi, as his wife has stated he is positively responding to treatment. Wife of the Kumawood star Evelyn Owusu, has reassured fans that her husband is responding to treatment more positively compared to days ago.

News of Wayoosi getting better has brought hope to fans of the actor, as well as the entire Kumawood family.

Evelyn who spoke to Eugene Moratt of New Mercury Fm in Kumasi, said his condition is under control. She also added that he will soon be discharged from the hospital.

Some sources had rumoured the actor to be dead weeks ago, leaving many who believed, in big shock. However, the report was subsequently debunked by a close associate of the actor, who revealed that even though Wayoosi was in a critical condition, he was nowhere near death.

More precisely, recent media reports trashed the rumours, confirming the actor to be critically ill at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi. This was followed by shocking photos showing the condition of the actor. The nature of Wayoosi’s ailment is still not Known. He was said to be suffering from a mysterious ailment which caused his stomach to bloat, as seen in the photos [See Photos].

But there seems to be hope for friends and family of the 40-year-old, whom have been soliciting prayers as well as funds from individuals and organisations, to foot his medical bills.

Evelyn speaking on Mercury FM expressed gratitude to the public for their prayers. According to her, it is prayers from the public that rapidly improved his condition. Evelyn rebuked media sources that circulated news of her husband’s death. She instead explained that the medical team is working tirelessly to help him recover fully.
