Abraham Attah’s peace campaign in partnership with Afri Gold impact is aimed at forestalling violence during the coming elections.
‘Beast of no Nation’ star Abraham Attah in partnership with AfriGold impact, will embark on a peace campaign ahead of the December elections. The Hollywood-based young Ghanaian actor has already reached an agreement with AfriGold to embark on the campaign which will kick off soonest.
Dubbed ‘Ghana Peace Drive’; The Abraham Attah Foundation and AfriGold Impact campaign are aimed at educating the public on the essence of maintaining peace in this political season. The project which will begin in October will see the campaign team tour various communities, with a video van to show at public gatherings; an entertaining and educative documentary centred on the essence of maintaining peace.
The documentary will contain messages from Emmanuel Bombande (former Executive Director of the West African Network for Peace Building), Kofi Asante (Chairman of the National Peace Council), Fred Degbee (former Secretary of Christian Council), Bright Kweku Appiah (Executive Director of Child Right International), Sheikh Dr Nuhu Shaributu (National Chief Imam) and Ransford Tetteh (former President of Ghana Journalists’ Association), advising the public against violence.
Furthermore, over 10,000 T-shirts with peace inscriptions will be distributed by the team for free, as part of the campaign which is aimed at sensitising the public against violence and encouraging peaceful co-existence. According to a statement delivered by Abraham Attah’s manager Mawuko Kuadzi, the young star will not be in the country during the exercise, but will ensure that the project is a success.
Abraham Attah’s peace campaign will end after the December elections; the young star has called on the media and the public to support the project.
