Apple remains resilient amidst the ongoing saga with the FBI over encryption. Amidst all the controversies, Apple has unveiled a smaller iPhone called iPhone SE. It was unveiled at an event on Monday at the company’s Cupertino, California, headquarters.
Features Of The iPhone SE
It is a 4-inch iPhone at a lower cost, which has the same processing and graphics performance of the larger Apple 6S. It comes with a powerful camera that shoots 4K video, and features a 64-bit A9 processor like the iPhone 6S.
Replacing the previous iPhone 5S, the iPhone SE has improved battery life and faster Wi-Fi connectivity. The iPhone SE also has faster LTE and a better camera of 12 mega-pixels. It is available in 16GB and 64GB.
The iPhone would be available as from March 31.
New iPad Pro
Alongside the new iPhone, Apple also unveiled a new iPad, which is the smaller version of the iPad Pro. The new iPad Pro which has a 9.7-inch display matches screen colour temperature to the surrounding environment. Compared to the similar-sized iPad Air, it offers a better screen, four speakers, an improved camera, faster A9X processor and optional accessories of the original iPad Pro, such as a detachable keyboard and stylus.
The pricing of the iPad Pro is 9.7-inch iPad Pro is $599 for a 32 GB model, $749 for 128 GB, and $899 for 256 GB. The prices are said to be $200 cheaper than the larger iPad Pro. It would be equally available from March 31.
Lower Pricing of Apple Watch
Apple has as well cut down the price of Apple Watch which now starts at $299 from $349 last year. The company will also release new wrist bands in different colours for the watch since its findings last year that one-third of Apple Watch owners like to switch bands.
