Leaders and founders of Actors, Presenters, Professionals and Musicians for Christ (APPMC), actors Majid Michel, Timothy Bentum and Pascal Amanfo over the weekend, took their burning desire for soul winning to a whole new level. APPMC trio stormed the Abrepo Junction market in Kumasi, preaching Jesus Christ to the people.
From all indications, the APPMC trio who have for some time now engaged themselves in vibrant spreading of the Gospel of Salvation, are really not allowing any barrier to stand in their pathway.
The three actors cum preachers had taken the entertainment industry by storm, the first time they were spotted, ministering at the Zoe Sanctuary not so long ago. Fans and other observers had taken the development for a movie set, but only time made them to appreciate what was really happening.
Most prominent among the APPMC trio is Majid Michel, whose popularity and nature of roles on the silver screens added to people’s disbelief. No one needs be reminded that actor Majid used to be most popular for “lover boy” roles in movies.
But the actor who has now fully given his life to Christ, has turned his back on every form of immorality for good. Majid in several interviews since after the changes, has made it very clear that he will henceforth do everything for the Kingdom business.
He also revealed that he receives great support from his colleagues Timothy and Pascal whose encouragements has always helped him to keep standing. The three has since been boldly sharing the word of God and their experiences at every slightest opportunity.
The trio are now seeking to use the Actors, Presenters, Professionals and Musicians for Christ (APPMC) to promote the gospel. They have indicated their readiness to bring the APPMC under one umbrella come December 8 at the Conference Center. According APPMC trio, the gathering is aimed at encouraging evangelism and soul winning using brands of Ghana’s influential celebrities.
Speaking in an interview with Nii Attractive, Majid Michel and Timothy Bentum mentioned that one of the fundamental duties of man as commanded in Mark 16:15, is to spread the word of God to nations; pointing out that God can use anybody for His works.
It is in the bid to fulfil this command that the three recently hit the streets preaching the word. Watch a short video captured from the event below:
