The unusual and unexpected happened Monday when a group of heavily built men stormed Fox Fm Kumasi and taught Baah Acheamfour, one of the notable critics of the NPP’s flag bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo, a lesson of his life.
Baah Acheamfour, on Monday afternoon had the shock of his life when he was beaten up by some macho men while on air in Fox Fm’s studios.
According to reports from peacefmonline.com, the victim had been invited as a panelist on the station’s afternoon political show.
Narrating the ugly incident to Peace FM 6pm News bulletin from Kumasi, Hello FM reporter, Isaac Owusu said the Macho men alleged to be members of the NPP directly walked into the studio’s of FOX FM pushing away security personnel along the way with the aim of teaching Baah Acheamfour a lesson for allegedly condemning the recent fund raising campaign (Yi Bi Ma) launched by the NPP.
The heavily-built men attacked Baah Acheamfour after he reportedly accused Nana Akufo-Addo of being behind the division in the NPP.
The producer of the show, Nana Anokye who recounted the incident to Isaac Owusu, stated that the Macho men who rode on motorbikes forcibly dashed into the studios and started beating everyone in the room including host of the show.
According to Isaac Owusu, if not for the timely intervention of the police who came to rescue the victim, the macho men would have wreaked a serious havoc.
He added that the victim has since been taken to the hospital for treatment, while an official complaint has been made with the police.
Baah Acheamfour is the Communications Director of the group ‘Save NPP Now’, an appendage of the opposition party and also one of the loudest critics of the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo.
