Expressing their excitement at the airport, the Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers assured they would make this year’s Airtel Adom Praiz quite a remarkable one!
Popular American gospel group, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir (BTC), has arrived Ghana for the the biggest concert on the Ghanaian Christian calendar, Airtel Adom Praiz. The group arrived at the Kotoka airport via Delta Airlines yesterday. The singers are currently at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
The 2016 edition of Airtel Adom Praiz, will be held at the Dome of the Perez Chapel in Dzorwulu in Accra on Friday, 5th August, 2016. The event is sponsored by Ghana’s leading data and digital innovation network, Airtel. The concert is set to attract tons of gospel singers as well as music lovers across the globe.
With over 200 members, the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is directed by Carol Cymbala, wife of Pastor Jim Cymbala. According to reports, the group has won five Dove awards and Grammy awards.
Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir will also be supported by other local gospel giants, including Francis Amo, Joe Beechem and Obaapa Christie for Ghana’s biggest gospel music and ministration night. According to reports, this is the group’s first time ever in Africa. This will be the 7th edition of the concert. Airtel in collaboration with Adom FM have constantly wowed the public with their ‘out of this world’ packages served hot at every single edition of the biggest spirit-filled gospel ministrations in Ghana. Lots of gospel music lovers, worshipers, various choir groups and fans of the American-based international gospel choir will all be there on August 5 to witness the event.
