And it finally came to pass that Nana Ama McBrown ties the knot with her long time heartthrob, Maxwell Mensah! The marriage ceremony was held Friday, 5th August, 2016 at East Legon, Accra.

Just as was earlier revealed by the charming actress, the wedding was a private ceremony with only few invited guests comprising close family members, friends and colleagues in attendance. And most surprisingly, photos were banned at the wedding with a bold notice reading: “NO PHOTOS”.

One of the attendees disclosed to GhanaCelebrities.Com that Nana Ama did not even wear a wedding gown but appeared in  a simple and beautiful attire.

The romantic ceremony was planned by Tv Host and event planner, Stacy Amoateng. Few moments to the wedding, Stacy had uploaded on Instagram, a video of Nana Ama in a wedding dress at Exclusive Bridals store.

A few moments after the wedding too, Stacy posted photos of herself and the newest couple.

The ‘Queen’ herself took to Instagram to share a photo of her unique wedding cake which was used to form the word ‘MAWU’, According to her MAWU means GOD in Ewe.

To tell the world that indeed she is now a ‘Mrs’, Nana Ama McBrown posted a photo of herself and husband on Instagram, showing off her bold diamond ring. She captioned the photo: “I am happy”.


The past week had just been a happy and celebration-filled one for the couple as Maxwell marked his birthday on 3rd August, just two days to the wedding.
