Ghanaian gospel superstar based in the UK, Sonnie Badu, has advised the public against criticising men of God who live luxurious lives.
We are well aware that this is an age where most men of God who live comfortable lives are usually accused of doing God’s work just to enrich themselves. The gospel musician, however warned such people to be cautious of their criticisms.
According to the ‘Baba’ hit singer popularly known for soul-lifting worship songs, men of God sometimes endure long suffering and the subsequent luxury is just God’s compensation. Sonnie Badu said on Facebook Wednesday that,
Luxury life in ministry is just the compensation that God gives you after long suffering , so any man of God that you see enjoying a bit of life don’t criticize, always find out the story behind the glory.”
I knew He was with me when I use to sleep in cars , I knew He was with me when I was homeless , I knew my star would one day shine when my ex’s mum saw that I was a broke boy and warned me never to step foot in their house, it was part of the test… So hang in there and let your heart be pure , you are next in line for a major breakthrough,” the musician added.
Meanwhile, Sonnie Badu has recently offered to sponsor former hiplife artiste Yaw Siki as he embarks on a journey to preach the word of God. The former hiplife artiste, Isaac Okai known as Yaw Siki, after surviving a gory accident in 2013, now preaches the word of God in buses and in communities in Tema for a living.
