Ebony’s nudity – Ebony has got some die-hard fans in the entertainment industry solidly backing her nudity on-screen.
Leading the tribe is none other than controversial sports TV personality Patrick Osei Agyeman, popularly known as Countryman Songo who enjoys the singer’s unique style.
Not too long ago the fearless sports journalist, had promised to open fire on anyone who criticises Ebony’s offensive fashion taste.
Ebony recently made news after a series of nude displays which flooded various social media platforms. The 4Syte Music Video Awards saw amazing performances from different acts who graced the event.
But a particular act which got people talking is Ebony’s nude performance. Ebony mounted the stage almost naked and wearing no panties, giving them some indecent view of her nakedness.
This had sparked a lot of criticisms and people in the likes of gospel musician Celestine Donkor, MUSIGA president Obour, and others did not mince words with the singer as they tried to call her to order.
But outspoken and fearless Songo has fired her critics including the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana–MUSIGA, Bice Osei Kuffour, well known as Obour, and journalist Manasseh, for criticising Ebony’s nudity.
Speaking on his Fire for Fire show on Adom TV, Songo indicated that Ebony is the best female dancehall artiste Ghana has ever had and for that matter, they should close their mouths and allow the dancehall queen to do what pleases her.
To Manasseh who wrote an open letter to the singer, Songo described the writer and other critics as stupid and ignorant. He went further to say that Ebony is the best female musician and that he loves the way she ‘twerks* on him.
Songo shares the same opinion with Ebony’s manager, Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly called ‘Bullet’ who says that the singer’s brand is an international brand and musicians including some critics needed to cope with her style.
Bullet compared his client’s style to that of international acts like Beyonce and Rihanna adding that her brand is not the local type. Ebony he said, is not the first artist and would certainly not be the last artist to expose herself.
