The three according to reports, unanimously decided to throw their weight behind the PPP Flagbearer, whom they have come to understand his policies better.

Rapper Edem who has been mute throughout the electioneering period, said he made up his mind to support Nduom, after a conversation with Edward Nana Poku Osei, popularly known as Da’ Hammer. Posting a photo of the PPP flagbearer, Edem wrote:

I was speaking with the hammer and i think we should try a new person for the Job.. Dr Nduom…has done amazing things alone.

Also, Kwaw Kese who earlier said he would not endorse any politician ahead of the election, made a sudden change of decision after the said interaction.

Da’hammer has convinced me… Ghana let’s put Dr Nduom in office. #Edwumawura#kokromotipower,

Kese also posted with a picture of Nduom.

Kwaw Kese had earlier debunked rumours of a possible endorsement of New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Akufo Addo. The rapper had said he had no plans of supporting any party or candidate. But as it appears, Kwaw Kese has changed his mind, as he has chosen to fly the flag of a candidate whom he believes, has more life changing policies for the people of Ghana.

The trio Edem, Kwaw Kese and Da’ Hammer, are reportedly the only Ghanaian entertainers who have publicly declared their support for the PPP Presidential candidate.

On the other hand, major contenders Akufo-Addo and President Mahama, both have an army of celebrities supporting their presidential race.

Celeb supporters of the NDC include; John Dumelo, Selassie Ibrahim, Mzbel, Bukom Banku, to mention a few. Nana Addo has also had a fair share of celeb supporters. They include; Agya Koo, Wisa Greid, Kwabena Kwabena, Daddy Lumba and many more.
