18-year-old Girl and Three Others Arrested in Accra; You’ll Be Shocked by the Crime they Committed

Four suspected car snatchers have been arrested by the Fadama police in Accra. Among the suspects is an 18-year-old girl.

The suspected car snatchers are: David Asare 19, Richard Awotey 18, Gideon Addo 18 all based in Suhum and 18-year-old Millicent Adjatey, a form 2 student of Oyoko Methodist Senior High School in Kofortidua.

The suspects, according to reports, snatched a brand new taxi car at Suhum in the Eastern region Saturday morning.

According to Adomonline.com, the suspects were said to have taken the stolen car to the Kokomba market in Accra to sell as scrap but considering the nature of the car, which is still new, residents became suspicious.

They immediately informed the Fadama police. The Police responded quickly and the suspects were rounded up.

They are currently in police custody assisting in investigations. We’ll update you with subsequent information.

The rate of crime among the youths in Ghana cities, especially Accra and Kumasi is becoming alarming. However, we are hoping that the police and other security agencies are doing their best to see that the menace is put in check.
