Ghana DJ Awards 2016, See The Winners Full List

The 2016 edition of the Ghana DJ Awards was held yesterday the 18th of March 2016 at the Accra conference centre. Like every award event, there were losers and winners. As expected, Ghana DJ Awards 2016 best DJ of the year was none else but Joyfm’s DJ Black, who maintains his crown yet again, for the third time now since the inception of the award. The nominees for the Best DJ of the year included the likes of Mr Kaxtro, DJ Mensah, DJ Vyrusky, DJ Mic Smith, DJ Andy Dosty and DJ Collins. Unfortunately none of them had what it took to dethrone the Chucha Su Madre star, who kept his place as number one. DJ Black was also crowned The Best Male Radio DJ of the Year.

Guest at the event were treated with performances from stars like Don Itchy, Kwaw Kese, Apaatse, Virusky, Eno, Ras Kuuku, DJ Que and more.

In other news, DJ Black born Kwadwo Ampofo on Friday 18th March 2016 was among the 15 students in the Media Management class of Ghana Institute of Journalism to graduate with Masters Degree in Media Management. His reason for taking the course in his words to was to “show the way for the youth to follow, inspire other DJs and upgrade my knowledge.” With his upgraded knowledge I bet his crown as Ghana’s number one DJ isn’t falling off his head anytime soon.
