The ‘illuminati’ hit maker analyzed the modern rap game in Ghana. The rapper in the song expressed his dissatisfaction with the quality of rap being served to the public in this present time.
In the song produced by Magnom Beatz and MikeMillzOnEm, he talked about both past and living legends who have contributed tremendously to rap. He called out artiste like Reggie Rockstone, DJ Black. He fumed that rappers are not as passionate as they are supposed to. He said the song ‘take it back’ is to draw the attention of his fellow rappers and upcoming rappers to how rap was executed in those days, in his quest to urge them to take a cue from the good old days of rap.
In the song, he expressed his worry over how the quality of rap has fallen these days. According to him, the song itself is to trigger an improvement on rap. Furthermore, he took out a section of the song to defend his fellow rapper cum friend, Pappy Kojo because according to him, a section of rap consumers have been undermining his lyrical skills.
