Shatta Wale has commended Stonebwoy and Samini’s for the way they reacted to his recent album launch, describing it as a good thing. He indicated that he is competing with nobody in Ghana music industry.
According to Shatta Wale, though people think he and the two aforementioned are competitors simply because they are all dancehall artistes, it is never so. He explained that most of the times, it is the media that exaggerate issues and thereby create unnecessary controversies. As for him, there is nothing like rivalry among them in Ghana music industry.
Although Shatta Wale is generally known as a controversial personality, from time to time he has shown that he is not troublesome in the actual sense of it’
Wale said that he is OK with every musician and he appreciates everyone of them. Hear him:
‘I am cool with every artiste; I see no competition so it’s a positive thing to see them congratulate me. I appreciate their talents too and back in 2013 when Stonebwoy won the BET award I congratulated him.’
Shatta also talked about how he has been educating his fans to abstain from exchanging offensive utterances with fans of other musicians.
Everyone is aware of the series of seemingly unending beefs between Shatta Wale and other Ghanaian musicians, especially those in the same dance hall genre with him, with the ones between him, Samini and Stonebwoy being the loudest.
The ‘Dancehall Commando’ recently launched his long anticipated 22-track ‘After The Storm’ album last Friday, the 29th of April at the Independence Square.
