From a prophet’s prediction of the sad incident to an eye-opening co-incidence, there could be more to Kotoko accident which we may not know…
More information about the ghastly motor accident involving Ghana football giants Asante Kotoko continues to unfold. Asante Kotoko team were involved in a motor accident on Wednesday, July 12 on their return to Kumasi, after their 1-0 defeat to Inter Allies.
Kotoko’s bus reportedly ran into a loaded truck with registration number AS 7329-13 parked on the side of the road. The collision had resulted in a crash which left one dead and many injured.
Condolences and good will messages have been pouring in from sympathisers and fans of the club. However, there have been some rather strange stories surrounding the unfortunate incident.
Prophet Predicted Kotoko Accident
The prophet in question is none other than the man who allegedly predicted the Kintampo Waterfall disaster and the Black Stars plane crash. The General Overseer of God’s Crown Chapel, Prophet Reindolf Oduro Gyebi popularly known as ‘Eagle Prophet’ says he foresaw the gruesome Kotoko accident before it happened.
In fact I specifically told them not to return to Kumasi after the game because of the devil’s plan but they didn’t listen and decided to return to Kumasi in the night
In an interview with Kumasi-based Abusua FM, the self-acclaimed prophet, said he had informed one leader of Kotoko that they should not travel on that fateful night. The leader he said, paid no heed to his warnings. Eagle Prophet said he had advised the team to sleep over and return on the following day since driving in the night could be detrimental, but the club failed to listen.
There’s more; the prophet said that the same management member called him to help him ask God for forgiveness for not listening to his word.
Heart of Lions Involved in Fatal Accident One year ago
This other revelation is that which has to with co-incidence. A year ago today, Heart of Lions team was involved in an accident in the Eastern Region. It happened on Wednesday, July 13th, 2016, when players and officials of the team were on their way for a Division one League game against King Solomon.
The accident which happened on the Koforidua-Mamfe road had left nine players of the Kpando Heart of Lions severely injured. There were 27 players and officials on board the bus when the accident occurred.
Black Stars Sympathise with Kotoko
Ghana’s national team has extended their goodwill messages to the entire team of Asante Kotoko. Players from the Black Stars team have sent in condolences as well as good will messages of solidarity to the local club.
