Kwaw Kese Set to Wed on Saturday after Thursday Traditional Marriage [Photos]

Hiplife artiste, Emmanuel Botchwey known on stage as Kwaw Kese performed the traditional marriage ceremony with longtime girlfriend Doris Kyei Baffour on Thursday in Kumasi ahead of their white wedding Saturday. The white wedding is expected to hold at the East Legon residence of Hon. Ursula Owusu, the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West constituency.

According to reports, it was in the same Thursday ceremony that he engaged his heartthrob before they proceeded to the traditional marriage proper. It was also gathered that traditional rites for Doris will be performed today Friday.

Kwaw Kese could not wait any longer as he makes significant moves towards walking down the aisle once again. Emmanuel Botchwey is now set to enter into a lifetime relationship with longtime girlfriend Doris Kyei Baffour.

Doris Kyei Baffour, is known as Pokua in her role in popular Ghanaian Television series, Efiewura. She is also the owner of Poks Inn. ‘Pokua’ has obviously captured the heart of Ghana’s Kese and as it appears, is not ready to let go. They are said to have been dating for years now. She organized a surprised birthday party for her fiance late last year.

This will be Kwaw Kese’s second marriage, as the Ghanaian rapper was married before to his American wife Ann. After six years of marriage from 2008, Kwaw Kese and Ann got divorced in 2014. Though the reason behind the divorce was vague at the time, it was rumoured they broke up on mutual grounds. However Kese was said to have been affected by the divorce.

Also according to some reports, Pokua helped Kwaw to get over the sadness that came with his divorce. The two started out as friends, and as we can see have decided to take their friendship to the next level. One can say ‘congratulations’ are in order for the two love birds.
