Majid’s Sex Roles -Actor turned evangelist Majid Michel who is basking in his newly found faith has made yet another resolution to strengthen his foundation.
The 2012 ‘Best Actor in a Leading Role’ at the Africa Movie Academy Awards has vowed not to kiss in movies again.
Majid who was speaking on Koforidua’s Bryte FM with Dr. Prekese on Saturday, October 14, said his decision was arrived at after critically thinking about his newly found job as an evangelist of the gospel of Christ.
Majid who interacted with the media prior to the premiere of the new movie ‘Adam The Eve’ added that many Ghanaians judge him by his movie characters but that is not the real him.
Majid’s comments also came after he was heavily criticised for his role in the new movie which premiered in Koforidua on October 14. The movie starred Majid Michel, Ingrid Alabi, Roselyn Ngissah, Peter Richie and many others.
The movie poster broke the internet with raunchy photos of Majid and Ingrid Alabi who were almost half naked.
The fact that the movie was said to have been shot about two years, with Majid playing those sexually stimulating roles during his old life days, didn’t stop the criticisms as some believe the photos in the newly emerging posters were recent shots.
Majid’s Sex Roles were remarkable for their realness, passion and sensual sensation. However, all those are old things which have passed away to Majid Michel. The evangelist says he will no longer be seen in seductive roles that will require him to expose his body.
Earlier in 2016, Majid broke the internet with the news that he is a born-again Christian and no longer an atheist. The actor who was believed to be an atheist had taken to social media to declare his new found faith in God.
Following his declaration, the actor has been heard and seen on different occasions including interviews, professing his faith, and expressing his satisfaction with his decision.
The actor who is a member of Leaders and founders of Actors, Presenters, Professionals, and Musicians for Christ (APPMC), stormed the Abrepo Junction market in Kumasi, alongside his counterparts, on October 16, preaching Jesus Christ to the people.
