President Mahama Deserves Second Term – Mzbel Declares Support for Mahama

Speaking to the press, Mzbel supports Mahama saying that the President has done well for the country in his four years tenure and deserves a second term.

More endorsements keep rolling in for the various political contenders, as the 2016 elections draw closer by the day. Like other celebrities, songstress Mzbel has thrown her weight behind President John Mahama ahead of this year’s elections.

According to reports, Mzbel has joined a celebrity campaign group called ‘Celebrities for Mahama’ which is aimed at projecting the works of the President.

Speaking to the press, Mzbel said the President has done well for the country in his four years tenure, and that he deserves a second term. The mother of one said that former President Kufuor’s eight years tenure as President cannot in any way be compared to Mahama’s four years tenure.

Also, buttressing her points, she asked Ghanaians to check out the government’s green book which contains the very many achievements of President Mahama. She also referred to Mahama’s Accounting to the People’ tour, where the President has been giving account of his works since he got into power. She said the president has been fulfilling the promises he made to the people four years ago.

Furthermore, she also said that Mahama deserves to be given the opportunity, to continue the good work has been doing. Mahama has been getting a lot of endorsements ahead of the elections. Two days ago, Ghana’s A-list actors thronged Mahama’s residence to commiserate with him over the death of his mother. Many have said the move was some kind of endorsement for Mahama, by the celebrities.

Another A-lister who has thrown his weight behind Mahama is actor John Dumelo who has been campaigning for the President. The actor, who has constantly been criticized for dabbling into politics, publicly declared his support for Mahama this year. Since then he has been seen in many NDC campaigns.
