Nadia Buari returns to the silver screens with a big surprise package for her fans and of course, all movie lovers.
One of the favorite and most admired Ghanaian actresses, Nadia Buari has been away from the movie stage for almost three years now. The flawlessly fair-skinned beautiful actress had gone on a long all-embracing and exhilaration maternity leave after conceiving her twins back in 2014.
The cute bundles of joy arrived in February 2015 in the US. Since then, Nadia appears to have fully occupied herself with no other business, but nursing her two little girls. During this period, Nadia made it clear that she would never trade motherhood for anything.
Now that she is obviously okay that her twins can do without her for one or two moments, Nadia has returned to her much cherished career, and that with a big bang!
Nadia Buari Returns with a New Movie!
Actress Nadia who is also a movie producer, has come up with a new production, titled Deranged.
‘Deranged’, a psychological thriller, is Nadia’s second production since she became a producer. The movie which has been described as a psychological thriller, is a captivating tale of a young high school girl (the lead character acted by Nadia), who falls madly in love with anew substitute teacher sent to her school.

Although the teacher is already married, this sensual high school student doesn’t care and would do anything to get the teacher’s love and attention, including killing his child, in the bid to kill the wife.
The movie, according to producers, “promises a lot of entertainment and also moral lessons to learn from as it silently creates awareness for the need to pay attention to persons with mental ailment.”
Owing to its very captivating and topical nature, Nadia’s ‘Deranged’ which was produced by John Nwachukwu Okwugo and directed by Jameel Buari, is said to have already won its first award at a film festival in Germany.
Cast in the movie are Zynnell Zuh, Priscilla Opoku Agyeman (Ahuofe Patri), Pascaline Edwards, Jason E.L Agha, Henry Prempeh, Lisbeth Lopez Acquah, all-time best Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah, and many others.
The movie which was privately screened in August, at the Labadi Beach Hotel, is set to be premiered on Saturday, 28th October, 2017, at the Accra and West Hills Malls Silverbird Cinemas at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm respectively.
Nadia came into the limelight following her debut movie role in Mummy’s Daughter. She however made her major breakthrough when she starred in Beyonce: The President’s Daughter. ‘Deranged’ is her second movie production after her first titled Diary of Imogen Brown which she produced back in 2013.
