Sad…Model in Obrafour’s ‘Pimpinaa’ Music Video Dead; To Be Buried Tuesday

Obrafour’s model in Pimpinaa video, who was in her early twenties, was signed onto Exopa Modelling agency when she was alive

Belinda Asiamah, one of the models who featured in a video for Obrafour’s recent single Pimpinaa, has unfortunately passed away. The young video vixen, reportedly died on Friday August 12.

According to reports, the young model reportedly complained of stomach pains earlier on Friday, before she died soon after. The actual cause of Belinda’s death has not been known at the moment, as some details have been withheld from the media.

Director of the music video Xbills Ebenezer, was first to break the news following his shocking post on social media.

“SHOCKING NEWS: RIP Belinda Belinda Asiamah who died of stomach pains earlier today She was in Obrafour and Bisa Kdei Music Video Pimpinaa and also Guru (Boys Abr3) Akayida video Share and wish her RIP. ‪#‎TeamXpress‬ we say May her soul Rest In Peace! ‪#‎GodisInControl‬”

He posted on Facebook alongside pictures of the late vixen.

Social media has been abuzz with several tributes from different artistes, colleagues and friends of the late vixen. Hip Hop Star Guru has paid tribute to late Belinda, who is known to have worked with him on countless occasions, which includes his (Boys Abr3) Akayida video. As part of his tribute, Guru posted a picture of Belinda on his Instagram page and wrote; “R.I.P Belinda,She featured in Boys Abre video,May God keep her safe”

The late vixen and model is to be buried on Tuesday, August 16 in Accra. According to family sources, there will be a church service at Lakeside Estates, followed with the burial at the Madina Cemetery. The funeral service will be held at the Social Welfare Centre.

Obrafour’s model in Pimpinaa video, who was in her early twenties, was signed to onto Exopa Modelling agency when she was alive. She hailed from Nsuta in the Ashanti region, and was based in Accra.

Belinda’s death has come as a shock to several models, photographers and designers who worked closely with her.
