Despite his ongoing trial for allegedly assaulting a police commander, ex-Black Stars defender, John Paintsil makes out time to celebrate his birthday. The 35-year-old footballer celebrated his birthday with a few close friends at the new 4Syte TV mansion at East Legon.
Paintsil, with his celebrity friends and some others shut down the new 4syte TV mansion in celebration of his new age. Among others who attended Paintsil’s birthday party were; former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, Moscow’s midfielder Laryea Kingston, Musician Nana Boroo, and 4syte TV CEO Ignace Hego.
Paintsil who is being tried for allegedly assaulting the East Legon District Police Commander was few days ago, granted bail by an Accra Circuit Court to the tune of GHC 5,000 with one surety. That however, did not stop the ex footballer from having fun on his birthday.

It happened that Paintsil’s wife lodged a complaint at the police station against him for allegedly stealing her car. Paintsil who reported to the station with his wife reportedly refused to give out information on the allegations when he felt the interrogations were being compromised.
More so, on attempting to walk out on the police, the commander had ordered Paintsil’s arrest to enable him get answers from him. This had led to Paintsil slapping the police commander amid the fuss. He was immediately arrested after he slapped the Police commander.
