Hailing him for his achievements, Patoranking said that Shatta Wale is the Dancehall dictator in Africa
Shatta Wale’s ‘After the Storm’ album launch has attracted lots of appraisals from so many celebrities in Ghana and beyond. The most recent is that of Nigerian A-lister, Patoranking who expressed his admiration for the Dancehall King. Patoranking during an interview with Sahara Reporters hailed the SM gad for his tremendous achievements.
The ‘Girlie O’ hitmaker said he has long admired Shatta back when he was still residing in Ghana. He said he used to listen to Shatta’s songs and then became a die hard fan of the ‘Kakai’ hitmaker.
Recalling his collaboration with Shatta on the ‘Romantic’ song, the ‘My Woman, My Everything’ hit-maker said that Shatta Wale is the “Dancehall dictator in Africa”.
He also praised Shatta for his outstanding performance during the African Player of the Year Award ceremony. Shatta who had a remarkable performance that day trended on twitter for a long time afterwards.
Shatta has been on the lips and screens of many after his dope performance at his album launch. His ‘After the Storm’ album launch which took place on April 29 at the Independence Square featured many outstanding performances by the dance hall king. Shatta who promised to serve it hot to his fans kept his word by delivering his bests.
He was also joined by the King of rap, Sarkodie who made an unexpected appearance during Shatta’s performance of their collaboration songs; ‘Megye Wo Girl’ and ‘Dance hall commando’. Just yesterday, word broke out that an SM fan bought a copy of the ‘After the Storm’ album for $1000. This goes to show that Shatta’s new album is doing very well, and as for the king of dance hall, may he keep soaring high like the eagle.
