Following the Sarkodie vs M.anifest beef, popular Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has highlighted award-winning rapper Sarkodie as one with exceptional skills in Ghana.
This he said, referring to the rapper’s ability to be singing in the local language and at the same time going global.
According to Actor Dumalo, Sarkodie’s style is one that easily attracts international interest notwithstanding the fact that most of his songs are done in the local language.
The much-talked-about Sarkodie vs M.anifest beef has been all about who is better than the other in rap music. The two had engaged each other in a war of words via diss songs with that of M.anifest titled ‘godMC’, and Sarkodie’s ‘Tanka’. The beef has been trending over the social media for some days now.
Touching on the controversial issue, Dumelo said that although beef is necessary and good for the industry, it will be hard for him to take sides.
“It’s rare to find someone [Sarkodie] rapping in the local language and going international,” Dumelo told Bola Ray on Starr Chat.
“It will be hard to take sides. Beef is needed,” he added.
