Due to the rumoured beef between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, several commentators commented on Shatta’s absence from the latter’s wedding…
Self-styled dance hall king Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has revealed why he was not seen at fellow dance hall artist Stonebwoy’s wedding.
Several notions have been formed by different fan tribes of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, regarding the former’s absence at the latter’s wedding. Being Stonebwoy’s biggest rival, many have wondered why Shatta was not present for the wedding. But the ‘kakai’ hitmaker has come out to clear the air.
Shatta Wale is currently in the US for his concert preparing to visit Jamaica. However, he spoke to Okay FM’s Abeiku Santana on the Ekwansodwoodwoo Drive over the phone. Shatta said that his friend Stonebwoy didn’t invite him to be part of his special day and that is the only reason why he was not there.
The ‘Chop Kiss’ hitmaker also stressed he has nothing against Stonebwouy. According to him, they are all one people so it was not nice for Stonbwoy to ignore him on such a day as special as his wedding day “It is not nice at all. You know we are one people”
The artist said he would have attended if he had been invented because he loves weddings. He went further to say that he had gotten a nice suit in preparation for the wedding, only to find out he wasn’t invited. The Bie Gya singer also added that had he been invited, he would have arrived at the wedding with a whole convoy to celebrate Stonebwoy and Louisa Ansong’s union.
Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and his heartthrob Louisa tied the knot on June 16, 2017, in Tema at a simple and classy traditional marriage ceremony. It was followed by the White Wedding which was attended by big wigs in the entertainment industry. The white wedding ceremony was held at the Unique Floral Events Centre, Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
