Information was rife over the weekend that wife of dancehall artiste Stonebwoy’s wife Louisa Satekla was injured in a knife attack moments before the artiste took to perform in Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra.

This was after Stonebwoy took to his Facebook page to say that the ‘assailants’ missed him as the target, hence the knife cutting his wife at the back.

However, his revelation sounded like a publicity stunt to many, thereby raising speculations of a possible fabrication of the whole story.

It got worse after the Police in Ashaiman denied reports that there was an assassination attempt on Stonebwoy at his ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert.

Ashaiman District Police Commander, Supt Seth Tay, who interacted with the media said that his officers were present on the grounds and that no incident of the sort was mentioned.

But Stonebwoy in another post has responded to these reports dispelling the concoction reports flooding the media. Part of his statement read;

Mind You, Medical And Police Reports Which We Have Still Remains Protocol. ?God Forbid, But If a life was Lost None Of These procedures nor talks will bring it Back…

He wondered why he would stoop so low as to cook up an attack, after achieving such great feat of “breaking yet another record of the biggest single outdoor event on the continent”

Stonebwoy and Louisa tied the knot on Friday, 16th June at the Unique Floral Centre in Accra. Prior to the wedding, the couple held their engagement ceremony at the Ansong’s family house in Tema.
