Nana Addo warns Ghanaians of the dangers of allowing the ruling NDC government to remain in power after the upcoming election…
Presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo warns Ghanaians to vote out the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the November 7 polls, otherwise, Ghana will be overwhelmed by poverty and hardship.
Nana Akufo-Addo made these statements while addressing party supporters in Gomoa during his tour of the Central Region. The NPP flag bearer argued that, despite the fact that the country is richly blessed with numerous resources, the poor leadership of the NDC has subjected majority of Ghanaians to abject poverty.
However, he assured that the poverty will last but for a while, because in no distant time, “we will see prosperity in Ghana”. Indicating that Ghana is not a poor country, he said the current challenges and sufferings were only brought about by the incompetence and poor leadership of the incumbent NDC government which according to him, will soon be turned around under the government of the NPP.
Nana Addo therefore, called on the people of the region to vote back the NPP to power considering its good track record. He also assured that his government will to be committed to serving Ghanaians saying, “when we are in power, we are not going to be lords over you. We are coming to serve you.”
The NPP flagbearer further stated that he will establish a working team, equipped with solution driven plans and polices, who will tackle pressing needs such as unemployment and poverty in Ghana. This he said he will do, because of the NPP’s desire to help build a better future for all. He further assured that the team will ensure that Ghanaians are salvaged from the quagmire of poverty, bad policies and lack of fulfillment.
