Sarkodie’s YouTube channel award is indeed a sure way to crown his already successful year. 

Rap master Sarkodie has picked up the award for “Most Subscribed YouTube Channel in Ghana” at the YouTube Sub-Sahara Africa Creator Awards 2016. Sarkodie’s YouTube channel award was based on growth in views and engagement over the last six months on YouTube.

The rapper as a matter of fact, can boast of more than 59 million views and over 147 thousand loyal subscribers.

Sarkodie’s enviable youtube channel is managed by MiPROMO Company Limited. The company is also responsible for the channels of other Ghanaian music stars as Shatta Wale, Pappy Kojo, Gifty Osei, Kwabena Kwabena, SP Kofi Sarpong, Guru Samini, Criss Waddle, Article Wan, and Joyce Blessing.

Other creator entertainers that won the Youtube Africa award were; DiamondPlatnumz, Kansiime Anne, NdaniTV, Mark Angel Comedy, IbakaTV/Nollywood and many more.
