See How Shatta Wale Set The Stage on Fire at Inusah Fuseini’s Campaign Launch

Dance hall artiste Shatta Wale, on Saturday night, performed in Tamale, at the campaign launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary nominee for the Tamale Central constituency, Inusah Fuseini. Shatta lit Tamale up with his usual showstopping performance, together with famed Tamale-based artiste, Fancy Gadam; making the public wonder if it was some kind of endorsement for the ruling party.

As we know, Shatta Wale had earlier declared he won’t be endorsing any political party ahead of the elections, but rather, will intensify his campaign for peace during and after the election. Notwithstanding his decision, the ‘chop kiss’ hitmaker had said he would honour any political  invitation to perform, regardless of the party.

Shatta set the stage on fire at the Tamale Jubilee Park, as he performed some of his many hit songs at the launch. The very excited crowd cheered and sang along, as they hailed the dance hall king. During his performance, Shatta assured his loyal fans that he will do whatever it takes within his means bring the two rivals in the area, Fancy Gadam and Maccassio together.

This does not mean the dance hall king has endorsed the NDC, as many might begin to insinuate. Shatta Wale up till this moment has not publicly endorsed any political contender or party.

Several celebrities have publicly declared their support for several contending parties ahead of the elections. Celebs in the likes of Selassie Ibrahim, John Dumelo, Bukom Banku, Mzbel and many others have all endorsed the NDC and its Flagbearer President John Mahama.

Also the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has a fair share of celeb supporters, they include; Agya Koo, Matild Asare, Lucky Mensah, Kwabena Kwabena, Wisa Gried, to mention a few.
