Shatta Wale’s Sallah Concert has come and gone after all. The Self acclaimed Dancehall King has proven to all that dates does not matter to him as regards his ability to pull mind-blowing crowd to himself!
Shatta Wale’s Sallah Concert was initially scheduled for 6th July, during the Eid holiday. But the date which clashed with VVIP’s own Sallah Concert sparked off harsh criticisms against the ‘kakai’ hit-maker, whose own event is sure to water down any other, fixed on same date with his. Prodigal, a member of the VVIP trio had lashed out at Shatta on social media, pointing out that their concert has been the one hosted on that date since 1998.
However, since the concert will form part of his peace campaign, the SM Gad canceled his for peace to reign. Knowing fully well, that what is feared by VVIP is certainly what will be the case, especially with his huge Nima following, he shifted the event to Saturday, the 23rd.
His decision paid off well as Shatta’s fans defied all odds to grace the show held along the Nima highway in their innumerable numbers Saturday night.
Even the rain which attempted to disrupt activities failed woefully as the crowd never moved an inch, but cheered and sang along as Shatta Wale took them through hit-song after hit-song.
