Bridget Darko, a sister to Trade Minister-designate, Alan Kyerematen has passed on after battling severe injuries which she sustained from the fire disaster that broke out at a gas station close to the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre on the 22nd of December, 2016.
She died Wednesday morning (January 11), barely one month after the incident.
Late Mrs. Bridget Darko was the Executive Director of Aid to Artisans, Ghana (ATAG), a non-governmental organization (NGO) that was established in 1989 to support the development of the Craft Industry in Ghana.
She has her office located near the Louis Gas Station where the fire incident erupted before spreading to nearby buildings, including the shop where she was at the time of the incident.

Bridget was among about 40 other critically injured persons who were hospitalised after the incident. About 12 persons have so far been confirmed dead since after the unfortunate incident.
