The voice of the Abraham advocates have been heard. ‘Beast Of No Nation’ star Abraham Attah is finally relocating to the United States of America and has also bagged a scholarship, all thanks to Netflix, the makers of the movie. Many industry experts had suggested and urged that the kid star relocate to the US to enhance his acting career.
Eye brows were raised of course among some Ghanaians who so much believe that the young Attah can still hit big in Ghana in his acting career. His move was first suggested by Leila Djansi who claimed Ghana has nothing to offer the young actor. And so, according to Netflix, Ghana’s darling Abraham has gotten a scholarship to study in the US. Therefore, those who were worried about his education need not worry any more.
Concerning his education, young Attah had made it clear that his education was his priority, although his manager is still scouting for roles for the star.
Abraham had earlier revealed when he arrived Ghana about a week ago, that he would not star in local movies as he believes Hollywood is more fun. His manager also had confirmed he was relocating to the US and was going to school over there on a scholarship. He also revealed the initiative was by Netflix who was to sponsor everything.
Abraham Attah was put on a high pedestal following his début ‘Beast Of No Nation’ alongside Hollywood Star Idris Elba. Aside the award winning movie, Abraham Attah has also featured in a short film titled ‘Out of the Village’, which was directed by Jonathan Stein and X-Men director, Bryan Singer as one of its producers.
The young star has won several awards including Best Male Lead at the Film Independence Spirits Awards. He was also present at the just concluded 88th Academy Awards, otherwise known as ‘the Oscars’ were he was selected to present an award.
