A Copy Of Shatta Wale’s Album ‘After The Storm’ Bought For A Whopping $1000


All the work that was put in the success of the launch of Shatta Wale’s album ‘After The Storm’ has started to pay off as anticipated.

It has been gathered that a copy of Shatta’s ‘After The Storm’ album has been bought for $1000. It was also seen on his Instagram page where he posted a video of himself and a fan holding a copy of the album and $1000.

In the video, Shatta Wale stated that his dude (Friend) bought his album for a thousand dollar as his support to the Shatta Movement. On April 30, Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan was also reported to have bought the first copy of Shatta Wale’s album ‘After The Storm’ at some undisclosed amount.

Gyan revealed on social media on Saturday that he had bought the first copy of Shatta Wale’s album. Referring to Shatta as his classmate, he expressed huge excitement over the success of the launch and the album itself. According to him it was an undisclosed amount as he wanted to be discreet about it.

The dance hall king launched his ‘After the storm’ album at the Independence Square in Ghana on Friday, April 29, 2016. Thousands of people gathered at the venue to witness the remarkable event.

The event was graced by so many stars and of course the SM fans. One of the remarkable moments at the show was that of the surprise duo by the SM gad and Sarkodie who was least expected to show up as he was assumed to be abroad.

The two performed their hit collaboration songs ‘Megye Wo Girl’ and ‘Dance hall Commando’. Other performers included Duke (D2) and Pope Skinny.
