Diamond Appiah warns Mahama in a recent social media post asking him to distance himself from Obinim’s affairs.
Singer Diamond Appiah has come at President Mahama over the recent arrest of the Founder of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim. Diamond who is an ardent follower of the pastor, has cautioned Mahama to desist from involving himself in the matters of the controversial pastor, also known as Angel Obinim.
The singer who now calls herself daughter of Angel Obinim, has not been finding the recent attacks on Obinim, funny. Diamond Appiah warns Mahama in a recent social media post asking him to distance himself from Obinim’s affairs. In her post, Diamond alleged that Mahama used the arrest of Obinim to draw attention off his pardon of Montie 3; Salifu Maase (alias Mugabe), Alistair Nelson and Ako Gunn, who were sentenced to 4 months in prison by the Supreme Court, for contempt.
President Mahama on August 22, remitted the trio’s remaining 3 months jail sentence, after they had served one month in jail, causing an uproar among the section of Ghanaians who felt the President abused his powers.
Diamond Appiah warning the President; said he used Obinim as a scape goat to cover his shameful release of the trio, by engineering his arrest the same period he released the Montie 3. The number one Obinim supporter asked Mahama to stay clear off the man of God, saying that Obinim’s arrest portrayed Mahama’s neglect of the Kingdom of God, as well as men of God.

Speaking on behalf of the Women and Youth of Obinim Nation, Diamond Appiah warns Mahama further threatening to campaign against him together with other members of the church, if he does not distance himself from issues relating to their leader.
However, many who have perceived her message to the President as disrespectful have chastised her.
Diamond Appiah has been know over the years to be a staunch believer and follower of Pastor Obinim. She has hitherto been known for her strong show of support for the pastor whenever he pops up in the news for the wrong reasons. It can be recalled that after Obinim was recently arrested for fraud, the singer and her associates, offered to pay the GHC 11.6 million the pastor allegedly defrauded a gold dealer of.
The singer also led calls for a calm when a video of Obinim flogging two teenagers of his church for fornicating, went viral. When attacks on the pastor concerning the ‘disciplinary’ act was at its climax, Diamond Appiah defended Obinim saying he was truly directed by God to do so.
