Ghanaians and Nigerians just can’t wait for this year’s edition of Ghana Meets Naija which will see Shatta Wale face off with Nigerian singer Flavour. Ahead of the showdown, Nigeria’s Flavour who was speaking in an interview with Amanda Jissih on GhOne TV said he is fully prepared to face Ghana’s dancehall king.
The ‘Ada Ada’ hit maker said he would perform with a live band on the D-day. In his interview Flavour also hailed Shatta for his creativity and achievements. He expressed his love for Ghanaian music especially that of Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.

The Tigo Ghana Meets Naija is a platform where artistes in Ghana and Nigeria come together in a friendly battle to prove who is who in the music industry among the two nations. The concert is also channeled towards encouraging collaborations between musicians in the two countries. Ghana Meets Naija is powered by Empire Entertainment and sponsored by Tigo.
For this year’s edition, Pappy Kojo, E.L, and Mr. Eazi will represent Ghana while Flavour will be joined by Olamide and Harry Song to represent Nigeria. The two groups would be placed in tribes.
The first round will see Ghana’s Pappy Kojo battle it out with Harry Song from tribe Nigeria, while the second round will see the reigning Artiste of the Year, EL, face off with Olamide. The almighty third and last round will be the ‘Kakai’ hit maker and Flavour’s music combat.
