I Wasn’t A Virgin When I Got Married, Joyce Blessing Confesses

It seems the popular Gospel Singer has just spilled the beans. Ghana’s very own Joyce Blessing has revealed that she was not a virgin when she married her husband Mr Blessing.

Ghana’s award winning Gospel artiste tells how remorseful she was when she had broken her virginity and decided to dedicate her life to serving God. She decided to turn a new leaf when she felt she had gone against God equally expressed her concerns on the Gospel music industry.

She frowned at the fact that gospel artistes are stereotyped as dull or boring. Joyce continued by saying that most gospel artistes contribute to the existence of that stereotype since they are always reluctant towards learning about their genre and developing themselves.

According to her, that is a determinant factor in achieving a great performance on stage. The popular gospel artiste gave some ‘lectures’ on gospel stage performance. She said body carriage and gestures, and also dressing, matters a lot when it has to do with ministering to an audience.

Joyce who put up a remarkable performance at the first edition of GN Bank Awards which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), is a renowned gospel artiste who has made waves in the gospel music industry. Having won seven awards, the Gospel singer also got the DJ’s Song of The Year Award with her ‘Monko mo akyi’ at the Ghana DJ Awards 2015.

Known for her hit songs like; Heavy Price, Kantamanto Nyame, Menka Nkyere Obia, she is one gospel diva who is very much seen on the TV screens of Ghanaians.
