Ghana’s international footballer and Leicester City player, Jeffrey Schlupp has left many jaws dropping with the comments he made after smashing his Lamborghini worth almost a million Ghana Cedes.
Jeffrey Schlupp skidded off the road on the M1 northbound near Lutterworth on Monday – ahead of his side’s crunch Champions League win over Club Brugge. Reports from the Sun indicated that the accident was not the footballer’s fault.
Although Schlupp was lucky enough to escape the accident unhurt, his costly super car was largely damaged. However, the 23-year-old football star was completely unperturbed by the incident and most importantly, his loss. He was rather grateful that he came out alive and unhurt seeing how slippery the road was as a result of a heavy downpour.
Speaking to traffic men who came around to assist him recover his damaged car, Schlupp said he is not bothered considering the fact that he is still left with three other options – three good cars!
I ain’t bothered. Just get the car recovered. Oh well, I’ve got three other cars to choose from.
It was gathered that truly, Schlupp who is rated at £12m owns three other expensive cars – a Range Rover Sport, a Mercedes sports car and a £105k BMW, given to all Leicester players after their title victory.
Jeffrey Schlupp is a professional footballer who plays for English club Leicester City and the Ghana national team as a left back or winger. He started his career as a striker.
Schlupp is known for his extreme pace and athleticism, which allows him to be a versatile option and able to play anywhere on the left wing. Former teammate Andrej Kramaric once stated that, he has never played with a more powerful and fast player than Jeffrey.
Schlupp was part of the Leicester team that shocked the footballing world, by winning the 2015-16 Premier League as rank outsiders with the odds of 5000-1.
