Like some other Mahama supporters, Kumawood’s Sly blasts Nana Addo (Mahama’s opponent) in the interview, saying he is only wasting his time
More celebrities continue to rally behind President John Mahama ahead of the 2016 elections. Kumawood actor, Sylvester Agyapong popularly known as ‘Sly’ has publicly declared his support for the President. In an interview with Zionflex.net, the Kumawood star hailed the President for his very many achievements over the years. Like some other Mahama supporters, Kumawood’s Sly blasts Nana Addo (Mahama’s opponent) in the interview, saying he is only wasting his time.
According to him, Mahama has done better than all past presidents who have been in office for the past thirty years. Urging Ghanaians to vote for Mahama, he stated that the President’s second year in office would bring about positive change in the country.
Bearing in mind dumsor’s dreaded return, he went ahead to say that despite the power challenges, Mahama is still developing Ghana which is a good plus for the President. He went further to recount many projects the Mahama-led administration has been able to put up over the years.

The actor was quick to point out that he has not been paid to endorse the President, as some might start to insinuate. Declaring his own prophesy of the outcome of the 2016 elections, Sly predicted that Mahama would win. He said that the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo, “is a loser” who is only wasting his time.
The actor also said that his public declaration of support for Mahama would not at all affect his career as God is in charge of his life. This was after he was asked if he was not bothered about coming out to talk against the NPP, as regards his career. Sly explained that it is God who touches the heart of humans to employ the services of actors, and for the same reason, he doesn’t fear for his career.
Mahama has been getting massive endorsements from prominent personalities, including celebrities, across the country. According to reports, a celebrity campaign group called ‘Celebrities for Mahama’ has emerged with the aim of projecting the works of the President. Clearly, Sylvester Agyapong has joined the train.
