He urged the people to keep up the enthusiastic spirit, and not to hesitate to exercise their rights at the polls. He urged them to be vigilant, regarding possible attempts by contenders to rig the election. He encouraged them to act as polling agents and open their eyes widely at the polling stations to ensure that their ballots are protected.
Mr Mac Manu gave an assurance, that the National Executives of the NPP are putting measures in place to prevent any diabolical strategies from any quarters, aimed at preventing Nana Addo from becoming President.
The NPP National campaign manager also recalled how the party’s Flagbearer conceded defeat, by congratulating late President Mills in 2008 after the elections. He continued that after Supreme Court ruling in 2012, Nana Addo did the same to President Mahama.
Mac Manu demanded that Mahama extends the same courtesy to Nana Addo, immediately the NPP Flgbearer is declared by the Electoral Commission as the winner of the December 2016 polls, as he is going to win “hands down”.
