Nana Addo has stated beyond all doubt that the NPP’s Elephant will ride into Flagstaff House this year.
Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo has continued to confidently reiterate his unwavering hopes of coming out victorious in this year’s presidential election.
The third-time presidential aspirant since the onset of electioneering for the 2016 elections has been expressing high hopes of winning the presidency this time. Nana Addo is very certain that the NPP’s Elephant will once again be allowed to occupy the seat of presidency.
Speaking to media personalities at a News Conference held in Kumasi yesterday [Wednesday], the NPP flagbearer stated without any doubts that the presidential office is for the opposition party this year. According to him, “this year would be for the elephant. It is going to go majestically to the Jubilee House”.
He therefore urged all NPP supporters as well as the entire Ghanaians to overlook all other parties on the ballot paper and cautiously look out for the symbol of the elephant and vote for him and his aspiring parliamentarians at the polls.
Ghana’s general elections is coming off on Saturday, the 7th of December. The election will see Ghana elect her seventh president in the Fourth Republic, as well as 275 parliamentarians to represent the 275 constituencies in the country.
The major contenders are President John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress who is vying for a second tenure and Nana Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party.
Meanwhile, officials such as security and media personnel as well as others who will be working on the election day has been given the opportunity to cast their votes today being December 1, under the special voting exercise.
